Following Ryan Fredericks’ injury against Gillingham on Sunday night, Liverpool’s Nathaniel Clyne has been linked with a January move to West Ham United.
Club insider ExWHUEmployee mentioned Clyne’s name as he confirmed the injury blow is likely to see West Ham pursue a new right-back this month.
Although Clyne would be an interesting signing, plenty of fans aren’t convinced an injury-prone player would fix the club’s injury problems…

Amidst doubts about Clyne’s fitness, many supporters are vouching for the signing of Norwich City ace Max Aarons…

Aarons, formerly linked with Tottenham Hotspur and Manchester United, has been a regular for Norwich this season and is bound to be attracting interest.
Aged just 20, the right-back is touted to have a big future ahead of him and would provide a long-term option for the Hammers.
He’d add youth and quality in an ageing squad, but it’s unlikely the club will have the funds to recruit him this month.
