West Ham’s pursuit of a midfielder has seemingly picked up, and the Hammers have been linked with another player in Genk’s Sander Berge.
Berge, who has also been linked with a switch to Liverpool, could the solution to West Ham’s issues in the position, with David Moyes looking to secure a new player in the position.

Speaking on Twitter, ExWHUEmployee confirmed that West Ham are indeed still interested in a move for the Norwegian, with reports from December also linking West Ham with Berge.

Berge is available in January and could be available for about £20 million to the right bidder.

This could be just what West Ham need, with Berge able to add some attacking flair to the West Ham midfield.
It will take a lot to beat out Liverpool, but he would certainly be guaranteed more first-team football at the club.
