New West Ham United manager David Moyes has approved the club’s plans to make a move for Inter Milan forward Gabriel Barbosa, according to a report on Inside Futbol.
The striker, more commonly known as Gabigol, has been on loan with Brazilian side Flamengo, where he netted twice in the final to hand them Copa Libertadores title.

The 23-year-old is a natural goalscorer and the Hammers are keen to bring him to London for around €20m.
West Ham have had a long-term interest in the attacker and Moyes is open to welcoming a player of his pedigree into his squad for the second half of the campaign.
However, London rivals Chelsea are also interested and are keeping an eye on his situation.
READ WEST HAM VERDICT
The Hammers definitely need to sign a striker. Gabigol has always spoken of his desire to play in the Premier League – this could be his golden chance.
He netted 25 times in 29 Brazilian top-flight matches for Flamengo and has a natural instinct when the ball arrives at him inside the box.
€20m also seems like a bargain price for a player of his capacity. Get this deal done and we could see the Hammers shoot up the table.
