West Ham United fans may have been keenly watching Flamengo striker Gabriel Barbosa against Liverpool in the FIFA Club World Cup Final, however, scouts were keeping tabs on another name too.
Electric Bruno Henrique caught the eye during the tournament and was awarded the Silver Ball behind the recipient of the Golden Ball, Mohamed Salah after Liverpool’s 1-0 triumph.
According to the Express, West Ham scouts were very impressed with what they saw from Henrique and believe he’d make an instant impact in East London.
The 28-year-old has enjoyed a phenomenal season in his native country Brazil, scoring 26 goals and providing nine assists in 46 goals.

Amid increased speculation regarding Andriy Yarmolenko’s future at West Ham, January could potentially see Henrique replace the experienced Ukrainian.
He naturally plays on the left flank but has played on both sides of the pitch, boasting blinding pace and impressive technical ability in the final third.
Henrique’s said to be valued at around £6million, so it could present a fairly risk-free move if the Hammers want to take a chance on him.
There are other areas West Ham will need to look to strengthen in January though, so he can’t be prioritised.
