Former Tottenham Hotspur star Darren Bent has admitted Jack Wilshere will have plenty of suitors in January but will need to get over his injury problems.
Wilshere has featured just 16 times since joining West Ham United from Arsenal last year, with half of those appearances coming this season.
The 27-year-old has been absent for the last eight games through a groin injury suffered in October though, and it seems West Ham have lost patience with him.
Speaking to Football Insider, Bent explained how much he rates Wilshere and hopes he can get over his problems with a fresh start:
I think he’ll have some takers because he’s a good player. Jack Wilshere is a very, very good player, I still really rate him. Hopefully, he can go somewhere, get a fresh start and get over his injuries. I’ve always been a big fan of his but it’s just one of those things.

Considering he’s earning £100,000-a-week, West Ham are in the right to be considering offloading him next month.
Declan Rice needs midfield competition and Wilshere or Carlos Sanchez aren’t offering that at the moment.
Their salaries will free up space for new stars to enter the fray, it’s just a case of which club will want to take a risk with either player.
