Jack Wilshere’s move to West Ham United from Arsenal hasn’t really gone to plan, but his stint at the London Stadium could be over soon.
Since joining last summer, the 27-year-old has made just 16 appearances due to regular fitness issues and niggling injuries.
And according to Football Insider, West Ham are ready to listen to offers for his services in the January transfer window.
A move away would see the Hammers make a profit after he joined on a free transfer 18 months ago and free up a large part of the current wage bill.
The report claims there’s a growing feeling Wilshere can no longer cope with the demands of Premier League football as he proves terribly poor value for his £100,000-a-week salary.

It’s probably not going to be a straightforward task offloading Wilshere due to his wage demands, should West Ham seek to sell or loan him out next month.
A move away would be the best solution for all parties though and with the club expected to sign midfield reinforcements sooner rather than later, he will be pushed out of the picture further.
Wilshere was a fine player in his prime but it really seems like he’s past it far too early – a massive shame.
