West Ham United are expected to be active in the January transfer window and one position they could be looking to strengthen is at right-back.
Pablo Zabaleta offers little and is counting down the days until his contract expires in the summer whilst Ryan Fredericks has looked less than convincing this season.
Amid the speculation, reputable club insider ExWHUEmployee revealed on his podcast that West Ham are keen admirers of promising Norwich City right-back Max Aarons:
They like Norwich’s right-back Aarons, they like him.

There’s no doubt the 18-year-old would not just add current quality to West Ham’s backline, but his sky-high potential is there for all to see.
Aarons boasts lightning-quick pace and loves to bomb forward down the right flank but has a fantastic positional awareness for such a young player.
The Hammers are in need of a tenacious tackler at full-back and the Norwich star could seriously be an attainable target.
If not in January, the summer could be a real possibility, especially if the Canaries fail to escape relegation back down to the Championship.
His value has been touted to be £15million in the past, which would offer ridiculous value for money if an interested party can pull it off.
