With the January transfer window looming, the need for West Ham United to strengthen their squad grows true.
The full-back, defensive midfield and striker positions are areas of great concern amongst fans and pundits alike but are likely to be addressed.
Gabriel Barbosa has been linked with a move to East London for a while now, on the back of 36 goals in 41 games on loan at Flamengo this season after struggling to fit in at Inter Milan.
According to FC Inter News, West Ham would have to pay Inter just £18.6million for Barbosa, including a feasible salary demand of £80,000-a-week.

If the report is to be believed, it’ll be interesting to see whether the Hammers approach ‘Gabigol’ in January.
Sebastien Haller is craving competition upfront and looked improved with Michail Antonio playing alongside him in the win at Southampton on Friday.
Antonio is good but if West Ham had another top-class striker to partner Haller, the team’s fortunes could turn around completely.
A return to Flamengo is most likely the decision Barbosa will make, but he’s proved he has the quality to make an impact in Europe, should he wish to do so.
