West Ham United are amidst a crucial period in their season with so many games on the horizon during the winter period.
The Hammers are only four points above the relegation zone but sit just three points behind the top half of the Premier League table, meaning every single result bears great significance.
There could be a huge boost on the horizon though, with not one, but two major first-team stars looking to return to action next time out on Boxing Day.
West Ham travel across London to face Crystal Park at Selhurst Park in nine days’ time and according to Claret & Hugh, the club hopes Lukasz Fabianski and Manuel Lanzini will be ready to feature.
The report claims Fabianski is believed to be ready to make his long-awaited return in between the sticks, with Lanzini slightly behind with a ‘50% chance’ of making the match.

It goes without saying that Fabianski has been incredibly missed since being forced off against AFC Bournemouth, so his return will provide a huge boost in itself.
Lanzini is also an important member of the squad and it’ll be interesting to see how he fares if Manuel Pellegrini sticks with the 4-4-2 system that won at Southampton on Friday.
West Ham will certainly want to target a new back-up goalkeeper in January, just in case Fabianski is sidelined again. It’s been a nightmare, but nightmare over.
