Michail Antonio has been a key figure for West Ham United since returning from injury but things could’ve been much different, thanks to Crystal Palace.
The 30-year-old is currently providing competition for £40million striker Sebastien Haller, but he could’ve been playing his football at Selhurst Park this season.
According to Claret & Hugh, West Ham rejected a jaw-dropping £30million offer from Palace in the latter stages of the summer.
The Eagles submitted a bid thinking Wilfried Zaha’s move to Everton was all-but completed but there was no interest in selling him whatsoever.

After rejected such a fee for an ageing player like Antonio, Manuel Pellegrini must rate him at least slightly.
Antonio’s energy and character act as a huge boost to this West Ham side and many will hope he returns to action again tonight against Arsenal.
He offers something completely different than Haller upfront and consistently looks a threat whenever he’s on the pitch.
Plenty of fans want to see a striker partnership between the two in an attempt to discover Haller’s best form, but it may also bring out the best in Antonio too.
He is a key member of Pellegrini’s squad and the club were right to reject an approach for his services.
