READ WEST HAM VERDICT
The 30-year-old left in 2016 when West Ham received £10million for his services, a fee which seemed like a bargain back then.
Manuel Pellegrini could really do with a versatile, calming presence in defence this season and he certainly could’ve been that man.
It’s great to see him doing so well elsewhere though because he was a great servant over his nine seasons with the first-team.
