Another day, another suggested candidate to take over from Manuel Pellegrini if he expectedly leaves West Ham United in the near future.
Adrian Durham has backed Danny and Nicky Cowley – currently in charge of Huddersfield Town and West Ham fans – as worthy for a Premier League job.
Speaking on talkSPORT, Durham explained what the Cowleys would bring to West Ham and why they haven’t got a top job:
They’re West Ham fans, they’re made for West Ham, aren’t they? They will bring something into that football club, a togetherness, a spirit, a love, something all the fans want to be a part of. It’s pure football snobbery that stops them getting a top job.

The Cowley brothers really came into prominence when they guided Lincoln City to League One on the back of leading the club out at Wembley for the first time and reaching the FA Cup quarter-finals.
It’d certainly be something different from the West Ham managers of previous years, but they seem invested in their project with Huddersfield.
It’s very likely the Hammers will want to recruit someone with Premier League experience should Pellegrini depart.
Who will that be though? It could be anyone’s guess.
