West Ham United dearly miss first-choice goalkeeper Lukasz Fabianski amid a winless run dating back to before he got injured.
Letting Adrian leave on a free has come back to bite the Hammers, with summer signing Roberto enduring a disastrous start to life in east London.
The severe lack of assurance in defence has contributed to West Ham’s dismal form, which sees Manuel Pellegrini’s side slumber in 17th.
There is some good news though, courtesy of club insider @ExWHUEmployee, who believes Fabianski’s return date is soon.
The Twitter account posted this morning that Fabianski is aiming to return to action against Southampton on December 14.

READ WEST HAM VERDICT
There’s Chelsea, Wolves, Arsenal and then Southampton up next for West Ham, so although it’s unfortunate the Pole is set to miss three huge fixtures, he could be back soon.
This dire spell without Fabianski has made it clear how important he is to the club and how his current back-up simply isn’t strong enough.
Roberto’s had his chance to win over the supporters but has failed miserably and isn’t likely to get many more chances.
A sensible thing to do from the club’s standpoint is bring in an eventual successor to Fabianski in January, who can deputise whilst he’s still at his peak.
