The latest name that has appeared on the Manuel Pellegrini replacement roundabout comes from Ligue 1.
With West Ham United worryingly close to dropping into the relegation zone, it seems like Pellegrini’s time at the London Stadium is nearing its conclusion.
West Ham are currently seven games without victory and with Chelsea and Wolves up next, many believe there will be a new face in the dugout by Christmas.
According to Claret & Hugh, Lille manager Christophe Galtier is the latest name on the shortlist to replace Pellegrini, should he leave the club.
The report adds that Sean Dyche, Eddie Howe and David Moyes are all also in the picture, with a British manager seemingly preferred.

Galtier is an exciting option; he led Lille to a second-place finish in Ligue 1 last season and would bring a style of football that’s guaranteed to please supporters.
With Lille currently in European football though, the question must be asked of whether he’d see a switch to West Ham as a downgrade.
He’d most likely be less feasible than some of the other options available to the Hammers, but if given the time and the funds he could make a real difference.
The club could do a lot worse…
