Manuel Pellegrini could finally be willing to make a major selection decision against Chelsea this weekend… and it involves the current goalkeeper situation.
Roberto has deputised for the injured Lukasz Fabianski since September but has received mass criticism for his lacklustre performances.
The Spaniard may not be making the headlines on Saturday though, because Football London journalist Sam Inkersole believes David Martin will start instead.
Both goalkeepers joined on free transfers in the summer and now it seems like Martin will make his first appearance since switching Millwall for West Ham United.

It’s not an ideal situation whatsoever, but it’d be questionable to give Roberto any more time in between the sticks.
The defence certainly doesn’t trust him and that brings down their performance levels completely, which has most likely contributed to the current seven-match winless run.
Fabianski will be eyeing a return to action before 2019 comes to a close with Southampton on December 14 said to be his target return date.
His return will no doubt act as a major boost for the whole squad and Manuel Pellegrini, who will be seriously treading on thin ice if this torrid run continues.
Roll on Saturday…
