The journalist who broke the news regarding West Ham United’s summer pursuit of Sebastien Haller has returned with another exciting story, amid rumours that the club were to be inactive in the new year.
According to the Daily Star, the Hammers don’t intend on backing Manuel Pellegrini in the January transfer window amid the club’s poor run of form.
However, journalist Nicola Shira has revealed on social media that West Ham will not only keep Pellegrini as their manager, but will also sign two players in January.

READ WEST HAM’S VERDICT
It comes as great news for West Ham fans who want to see the squad benefit from further investment.
Pellegrini’s squad is seriously lacking quality in depth in key areas and when you consider the club’s measly net spend of just £25million over the last two transfer windows, you can understand why.
January is always a difficult time to complete business, but West Ham must improve before they’re tied in a shock relegation battle.
Hopefully, this latest update carries some truth and we’ll see the club improve their options midway through what once seemed like a promising campaign.
