You’d think buying a new winger is the lowest priority for West Ham United in the transfer window at the moment, but there’s one player’s name that just won’t go away.
According to CalcioMercato, West Ham and Wolves have joined Fiorentina in monitoring AC Milan ace Suso, who is struggling to impress at the San Siro.
The Italian outlet claim Suso has a £32.5million release clause in his current contract and both Premier League clubs could be tempted to make a move for him in the January transfer window.
He’s scored just once and provided just one assist in 11 outings for Milan this season, with many supporters turning against him.

With Andriy Yarmolenko enjoying a good season and Felipe Anderson regularly occupying the other flank, should the money really be going there?
Other areas of the team need strengthening if Manuel Pellegrini is to take the club where they want to be and you’d argue the wide areas are one of the team’s strongest.
Aged just 25, Suso is a great player though with still plenty to offer and not many would complain if he did join the Hammers.
It’s a report that doesn’t seem to be going away, that’s for sure.
