Manuel Lanzini’s fractured collarbone put the icing on the cake in a miserable match against Burnley at Turf Moor last weekend.
Manuel Pellegrini revealed he didn’t plan on recalling Grady Diangana from his loan at West Bromwich Albion in January, but Claret & Hugh report the injury could have altered things.
Diangana has been setting the Championship alight so far this season and looks to be helping Slaven Bilic’s side challenge for the title and ultimately promotion.
Plenty of supporters have taken to social media to offer their opinions on the 21-year-old’s potential recall, and there’s a resounding general consensus…

READ WEST HAM’S VERDICT
The common opinion seems to be that there’s no point recalling him when there’s a perfectly sound replacement smashing it for the Under-23s.
And in all honesty, you’d have to agree.
You can’t take Diangana away from regular first-team football, especially with the form he’s in, to go back to sitting him on the bench once Lanzini returns.
It’s time to give Nathan Holland a chance to cement his place amongst the senior squad
