Manchester United are facing injury woes as they prepare to face West Ham United at the London Stadium on Sunday, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has confirmed.
A few key names were missing in Man United’s last Premier League outing against Leicester City last weekend, with Luke Shaw, Paul Pogba, Jesse Lingard and Anthony Martial all absent from the narrow 1-0 win.
Solskjaer has confirmed that his side will be without Shaw again this weekend, with Paul Pogba, Anthony Martial and current top-scorer Daniel James all considered doubtful.
Speaking to MUTV ahead of the game, the Norwegian manager said:
Not really, no, [Pogba and Martial won’t be ready]. They have not been training yet. Luke [Shaw] won’t be ready. I don’t know [if James be fit]. [He’s] not trained for the past few days. Hopefully he will, but we’re not sure. We will have a recovery day tomorrow and see on Saturday.

All four of the players stated above are considered as starters for United, so have potentially have all four missing is a crucial blow.
James has taken the Premier League by storm since making the step up from Swansea City, whilst Martial has also looked slick in front of goal and the midfield vitally lacks in quality when Pogba’s not in it.
Although the weakened opposition can only be seen as a boost for West Ham, is it really that good a slice of news?
Solskjaer hasn’t got an array of top quality players to pick from, but his selection is bound to be much more of a mystery for Manuel Pellegrini to solve before Sunday’s kick-off.
United have established starters, senior outcasts and academy products at their disposal and the line-up could genuinely be anything in East London.
The Hammers would be daft not to fancy their chances though, with United also on eight points the bragging rights are all to play for.
