Manuel Pellegrini has confirmed that Javier Hernandez is back to full fitness following the small knee injury that has kept him out of the last two games, but some fans are struggling to be positive about it.
Hernandez scored West Ham United’s first goal of the season at Brighton & Hove Albion two weeks ago but hasn’t featured since.
Ahead of this weekend’s game against Norwich City at the London Stadium, Pellegrini has provided a team news boost with Chicharito passed fit.
With the international break just around the corner though, some supporters can’t help but spread negativity about the news…
Twitter: @WestHam Don’t you dare play him. (@Henrikinho__)
Twitter: @WestHam Funny that, just in time to go and play for Mexico.
If only he put in the same effort he does for Mexico at West Ham (@HALLERlujah_)
Twitter: @joehall22217 @WestHam He really isn’t a reliable scorer, and he brings nothing other than a goal every now and then (@Henrikinho__)
Others are backing the 31-year-old though, fighting back against those critical of his exploits…
Twitter: @Henrikinho__ @WestHam Why he’s a reliable scorer I don’t understand the hate

Twitter: @WestHam The hate on chicha is unbelievable I don’t see why there’s so much hate

READ WEST HAM’S VERDICT
It’s hard to understand some of the criticism Chicharito is receiving. He’s given his all since joining West Ham and his goal-scoring record isn’t that bad either.
The all-time Mexican top scorer is obviously going to get called up for the national team, so there should be no surprises there.
If he’s fully fit, he should at least make the bench against Norwich on Saturday where he’ll be hoping bag his second goal of the campaign.
