Manuel Lanzini’s contribution as West Ham United defeated Watford last weekend was his 100th Premier League appearance for the club.
The Argentine playmaker provided his second assist in three games during the 3-1 triumph at Vicarage Road, at the start of what promises to be a fine individual season.
West Ham took to Twitter to give Lanzini recognition for his achievement, yet plenty of fans are only interested in one thing…

READ WEST HAM’S VERDICT
With all parties thought to be in the final stages of negotiations, it now looks very likely Lanzini will commit his long-term future sooner rather than later.
West Ham supporters are quite clearly mad about him and now aged 26, you could argue he’s entering his best years.
His ability to pick the ball up and drive forward with creative intent is crucial for Manuel Pellegrini’s style of play, which makes him all the more popular amongst the fan base.
I wouldn’t be surprised if the club is getting rather sick of the regular bombardments of comments though, so we may not be waiting for an announcement for much longer!
