Plenty of West Ham United fans are weighing in on the conversation after Manuel Pellegrini confirmed he expects to feature in Tuesday’s Carabao Cup clash against Newport County.
West Ham travel to Rodney Park in the second round and should rotate from the weekend’s 3-1 triumph at Watford.
Pellegrini has been speaking ahead of the match and told the media, as cited by football.london, that summer signing Albian Ajeti will make his debut.
I am sure that Ajeti will play. He deserves that opportunity, he is doing very well during training sessions.
You would’ve thought there’d be lots of excited supporters, but many are worried Pellegrini will go too overboard with the rotation, leading to another cup defeat to lower league opposition.

READ WEST HAM’S VERDICT
Supporters are justified in being conscious about the team Pellegrini selects following last season’s FA Cup exit at AFC Wimbledon.
The Argentine knows West Ham are due to cup run though and should put out a relatively strong side with the squad depth at his disposal.
There’ll certainly be changes from the triumph at Vicarage Road, but there was plenty of quality on the bench who could enter the team and make an impact.
Fabian Balbuena, Pablo Fornals and Michail Antonio are all players who could come in and still make the team look first-choice, while there could be another debut for goalkeeper Roberto too.
