West Ham United fans were treated to a vintage performance from Sebastien Haller on Saturday as he netted his first two goals for the club in a 3-1 win at Watford.
It was just his second competitive outing after missing last weekend’s trip to Brighton & Hove Albion through injury and he put on a show to prove why he’s the Hammers’ record signing.
Another returning star in club captain Mark Noble slotted West Ham ahead from the penalty spot after Manuel Lanzini was brought down just three minutes in, before Andre Gray fired the hosts level.
It was the visitors who came out firing in the second half though, and Haller’s movement found him on the end of Felipe Anderson’s low ball across goal, tapping home in front of the away fans to make it 2-1.
The French striker topped off the result with a slick bicycle kick, getting on the end of a corner to send the away end into raptures; what a way to seal the first three points of the season.
Haller rightly stole the headlines, but West Ham fans have been impressed with plenty of other names and over the past day have been voting for their Man of the Match at Vicarage Road.
So, let’s take a look at who caught the eye most.
