West Ham United are in search of their first three points of the season when they travel to Vicarage Road on Saturday to face Watford, a side with similar aspirations following back-to-back defeats.
Manuel Pellegrini’s men have, all-in-all, a full-strength squad and should be confident in getting a result, but what are the fans thinking?
I’ve spoken with @WestHam_Central once again to preview this weekend’s crunch clash, and here’s what they had to say.
Both teams obviously haven’t started the season very well, but which do you think are favourites going into this one?
I think West Ham are the clear favourites going into this game. We have a near fully fit squad with our best players back and Watford have their three best players injured.

Noble, Anderson and Haller are all expected to return from injury this weekend – where do they fit in? Starters? Off the bench?
I think all three returning players will start the game. We need Haller up top, we need Anderson’s pace on the wing and we need Noble to support Rice in our midfield.
Are you happy Troy Deeney has been ruled out? Which players are Watford’s main dangermen now?
Deeney being unavailable is a boost for West Ham; he is a player who always performs well and scores against us. Their main dangerman will be Deulofeu, but I am not worried about anybody else.
What strengths and weaknesses must West Ham be aware of at Vicarage Road?
Watford’s only strength will be helped by us. I can see them hitting us on the counter-attack as I feel we will dominate possession in the game. The clear weakness is their defence, which I feel is one of the weakest in the division and therefore, Haller should have a field day.

What has been missing from West Ham’s first two performances? What do you want to see at Watford?
I feel the team has been lacking urgency and grit. With everyone returning to the side besides Reid, we should start to see what this team is capable of. I want to see us dominate possession and take our chances.
Score prediction?
I feel the score will be 3-1 to West Ham. Haller will get on the scoresheet and we will have too much for Watford to handle. This is West Ham we are talking about though, so you never know. Come on you Irons!
