Masses of West Ham United fans are jubilant on social media after Manuel Lanzini has confirmed his intentions to sign a new long-term contract at the club.
Speaking to Sky Sports News on Thursday, the 26-year-old explained what plenty have been dying to hear:
Yes, we are talking with the club about staying and, of course, I want to stay. It is like my home. It is my fifth season now, I love the fans, the fans love me and the club is amazing.
Lanzini is being touted for a terrific season under Manuel Pellegrini, and these fans will be hoping that he can show his best form yet after committing his future:
