West Ham United fans have been making their (very) early predictions for the club’s end of season awards, and it’s fair to say the favourite to be named Hammer of the Year is Manuel Lanzini.
The Argentina international is currently holding talks to extend his deal at the club and is enjoying life back on the pitch in full fitness.
To pass the time ahead of Saturday’s anticipated trip to face Watford at Vicarage Road, supporters have been making their top scorer, top assister, Hammer of the Year and league finish predictions.
While differing in opinion on where West Ham will finish in the Premier League this season, these supporters are in agreement that Lanzini is set to impress:

READ WEST HAM’S VERDICT
Lanzini has enjoyed a good individual start to the campaign, providing the assist for West Ham’s only goal so far in last weekend’s draw at Brighton, and if he continues his creative form he’s in with every shot.
Other popular picks amongst the voters were new signings Sebastien Haller and Pablo Fornals, who also have a great platform to impress, but Lanzini committing his future to the club can only help his relationship with fans.
Let’s hope Manuel Pellegrini’s men can actually start scoring some goals though, and a convincing win at the ground they romped to a 4-1 triumph last season would be a great start.
