West Ham United released the club’s 2019-20 squad photo on Wednesday and it’s sparked plenty of conversation, with the latest topic revolving around the emergence of two exciting U23s starlets.

Every reserves game in which Conor Coventry and Nathan Holland impress, masses of supporters storm the social media comments section to plead for their first-team chance, and a breakthrough could be on the horizon.
Coventry is seated next to Arthur Masuaku on the bottom left of the set-up, whilst Holland can be seen behind Albian Ajeti on the top right, and they didn’t go unnoticed with these fans:

Holland has made one first-team appearance already, coming on as a substitute in a League Cup game against Bolton Wanderers in September 2017.
Coventry made his bow a little later than that, in last season’s 8-0 thumping of Macclesfield Town in the same competition – but this term presents an opportunity for both to break into Manuel Pellegrini’s squad for good.
If you’re good enough, you’re old enough, as we’ve seen with Declan Rice’s meteoric rise to being one of the side’s most important players aged just 19, so if Coventry and Holland impress, they’ll make it.
