Since Leicester City signed James Maddison from Norwich City last summer, he’s created 50 chances from set-pieces in the Premier League, which is at least six more than any other play.
Suddenly the £22.5million Leicester paid for his services seems a bargain, and the fact David Moyes passed up on the opportunity to sign him during his tenure as West Ham United manager continues to hurt supporters.
Maddison put on another eye-catching display in the Foxes’ 1-1 draw with Chelsea at Stamford Bridge on Sunday, and Hammers fans can’t stop thinking about what could’ve been:

READ WEST HAM’S VERDICT
I don’t think I’d be shot down if I said Maddison was one of the hottest midfielders in the Premier League today and West Ham, or should I say Moyes has missed an awful trick in signing him.
If we’re being truthful, Leicester are likely to receive north of three times what they paid Norwich for the 22-year-old when the heavyweights come knocking in the next few years.
You could argue the Hammers don’t need him when Manuel Lanzini’s in the side, but that’s denial more than anything else. Maddison could’ve fitted in any of the four spots behind Sebastien Haller in Manuel Pellegrini’s system.
He’s certainly one to watch this season.
