West Ham United square off against recent ‘bogey team’ Brighton & Hove Albion at the AMEX Stadium on Saturday, where they will look to put last weekend’s defeat to Manchester City behind them.
Goals from Gabriel Jesus and Sergio Aguero, and a Raheem Sterling hatrick saw the Hammers succumb to a 5-0 thumping on their own turf at the hands of the Premier League champions.
Brighton started the season in the opposite fashion, beating Watford 3-0 at Vicarage Road through goals from Florian Andone and Neal Maupay off the bench, adding to Abdoulaye Doucoure’s first-half own-goal.
Although Manuel Pellegrini will have threats such as Pablo Fornals, Andriy Yarmolenko and Michail Antonio at his disposal, a familiar foe for West Ham will be the biggest of them all.

GLENN MURRAY – DANGERMAN
Murray’s record of four goals in his last four appearances against the Irons tells you all you need to know – he LOVES punishing Pellegrini’s side.
He’ll be the biggest threat West Ham have to deal with, but that’s if he actually starts the game following both Andone and Maupay’s exploits as substitutes last time out.
In truth, Graham Potter has plenty of attacking stars to choose from and whoever plays, the defence must be switched on for the whole 90 minutes.
Otherwise, more problems could arise at the AMEX…
