West Ham United fans are going into meltdown after Manuel Pellegrini revealed a huge double injury blow ahead of Saturday’s trip to the AMEX Stadium to face Brighton & Hove Albion.
The Hammers manager confirmed in his pre-match press conference that Jack Wilshere is fit, but key duo Felipe Anderson and Sebastien Haller are injury doubts after suffering knocks in the Manchester City defeat.
Supporters will be desperate to get back to winning ways after that drubbing at the London Stadium last weekend and have taken to the team news, well, as negatively as you’d expect:

It was common knowledge amongst West Ham fans and fantasy football managers that Anderson remained a doubt after he was forced off early against Man City, but Haller would be a monumental blow.
The club’s record signing will be eager to get off the mark as soon as possible and to miss the second game of the season would be a shame for both him and the team.
It could lead to an early debut for fellow new arrival Albian Ajeti, who will have a golden opportunity to make a statement and provide tough competition for Haller in that lone striker role.
That’s one, and probably the only positive to come out of these latest developments. We can only hope at least one of them makes it in time.
