Six strikers West Ham could look to sign this summer

West Ham are in the market for at least one striker this summer following the respective departures of Andy Carroll, Lucas Perez to Deportivo Alaves and Marko Arnautovic to Shanghai SIPG.

The latter forced through a move to the Chinese Super League side earlier this month, after failing in his attempts to move in January, meaning Javier Hernandez is now the Hammers’ only recognised striker.

However, the Mexico international has also been linked with a move away this summer, with a number of La Liga sides said to be interested.

The Hammers’ main target had appeared to be Celta Vigo striker Maxi Gomez, but a proposed £45million move now looks set to be off, with the Uruguayan reportedly closing in on a move to Valencia.

And following the news of Gomez’s potential move to West Ham falling through, we’ve identified six alternative strikers that Manuel Pellegrini could look to sign as he looks to strengthen his striking options.
