West Ham have enquired about a potential deal for Girona winger Portu this summer.
According to Spanish outlet Mundo Deportivo, via Sport Witness, West Ham are one of a number of teams to have shown an interest in signing Portu ahead of next season.
The report claims that Brighton and West Ham are two of the Premier League sides to have contacted Girona, with Real Sociedad also mentioned – although 13 clubs are said to have enquired.

Sociedad are reportedly close to agreeing a five-year deal with the player, but are yet to agree on a fee with Girona. Portu is said to be valued at €10m, which Sociedad are unable to afford at this moment in time.
Mundo Deportivo claim that Portu is yet to make his mind up on where he wants to play his football next season, despite the interest from Sociedad, after an impressive season with Girona.
The club were relegated from La Liga, but Portu was able to score nine times and assist a further two in the league.
