West Ham United midfielder Jack Wilshere has sent a message to the club’s fans after he made his first appearance of 2019 for the U23 side.
As reported on HITC, the injury-prone Englishman featured against Leicester City in the Premier League 2 encounter.
Wilshere had surgery on his ankle in September and has struggled to regain fitness ever since.
He played 66 minutes and got through the match without picking up an injury. He took to social media following the match to send a message to all West Ham fans.

The 27-year-old has only managed to play five times for the Hammers, with his last first-team appearance coming in December.
Wilshere will be hoping to remain injury free throughout the summer, where he can then begin to focus on his fitness and physicality.
Manuel Pellegrini has backed the midfielder and he could be a key player for the club next season.
