Pablo Zabaleta is set for talks with boss Manuel Pellegrini over his future at the club, the Evening Standard reports.
The talk comes amid rumours that Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola would like the ex-City man back at the Etihad Stadium as part of his backroom staff next season, although Pellegrini was quick to shut these rumours down last month.

The 34-year-old’s contract is up for renewal at the end of this season after signing for the Hammers on a free transfer from City in 2017.
Under three different managers – Slaven Bilic, David Moyes and now Pellegrini – the Argentine has been a regular at the club.
Pellegrini feels that the defender’s professionalism and experience is a big factor in the London Stadium dressing room and is eager to extend his contract.

The pair won the Premier League together at City in 2014 and the Hammers are currently sitting ninth in the Premier League, just one win away from seventh.
Zabaleta will no doubt be wanted at London Stadium and fans will be eagerly awaiting whether he decides to put pen to paper for another year there.
