West Ham are eyeing a summer move for Millwall right-back Mahlon Romeo as they look to bolster their defensive options.
According to The Express, West Ham and Rangers are both interested in signing Romeo, who has impressed despite Millwall’s position in the Championship.
Millwall are fighting against relegation to League One, but Romeo has been a consistent figure at right-back and is now attracting interest from other clubs.

The 23-year-old will be available on a free transfer in the summer, unless he signs a new contract with Millwall before the end of the season.
West Ham could be looking for a long-term successor to Pablo Zabaleta at right-back. The Argentine recently turned 34 and could take Romeo under his wing at the London Stadium.
The Hammers would, however, have to convince Romeo to join them over Rangers – who are set to have European football next season.
