Felipe Anderson has been called up to represent Brazil in their upcoming fixtures against Panama and the Czech Republic next month, it has been confirmed.
The Brazilian forward has been in fine form for the Hammers this season after joining the East London side from Lazio in a record-breaking £36 million move in the summer.
Anderson has flourished at West Ham so far, becoming one of their star players. He has tallied up eight goals and three assists in this year’s Premier League – a fantastic tally for someone in their first season, especially in the Premier League.

This is not the first time that Anderson has been called up to represent his country. He was in the squad for the 2015 Copa America and was given a run-out in the final minutes against Mexico – which was not enough time to showcase his talents.
He was also in the Brazil Olympic team for their campaign in the 2016 Olympics. He featured in the side and played a part in the final against Germany. This is where he received a Gold medal for the tournament as his side won that final on penalties.
Anderson is a player who is regarded highly and has been unlucky not to get more opportunities for his country in the past. Brazil have some of the best attackers in the world – which makes it extremely difficult to break in to the team.
