West Ham United are reportedly negotiating a move to sign John Fleck from Sheffield United.
Sky Sports claim that the Hammers are pursuing a deal for the midfielder, who has earned plaudits for his displays at Brammal Lane this season.
Fleck is an essential player for Chris Wilder’s side and has made 27 starts in the Championship as the Blades go in search of promotion to the Premier League.

Manuel Pellegrini has seen his midfield options cut down as a consequence of injuries throughout the season, with the likes of Carlos Sanchez and Jack Wilshere having sustained long-term problems.
The absence of key players in this position appears to have led the Chilean to pursue a deal for Fleck, with a £4 million offer seemingly on the table for Sheffield United to consider.
The Scottish midfielder was named the club’s Player of the Season following his exploits last season and could prove to be difficult to lure away from the promotion-chasing Championship side.
