Premier League side West Ham United have had a €40m bid for striker Duvan Zapata rejected by Italian club Atalanta, according to a report on CalcioMercato.
The Colombian international netted four times this weekend as Atalanta hammered Frosinone in the Serie A.

The goals take his overall tally to 14 in the Italian top flight this season, level with Cristiano Ronaldo and Fabio Quagliarella.
The 27-year-old’s performances so far this season have attracted a lot of attention and the Hammers were hoping to secure his services.
However, Atalanta are not keen on allowing him to leave this month and the striker has claimed that he is currently happy at the club.
But, he refused to rule out a move to the Premier League in the future, admitting that one day, he could move to England.
West Ham could be tempted to test Atalanta’s resolve by upping their bid, but with Marko Arnautovic looking like he’s going to stay until the summer at least, they may not push too hard for Zapata this month.
