Marko Arnautovic has reassured fans that he will not be leaving West Ham in the coming transfer window.
The Evening Standard reported that during the international break, the Austrians brother spoke about how he believes the forward should be playing for a side closer to the top of the table instead of being involved in another relegation battle with West Ham:
He’s already playing in the Premier League and that’s where the best players are. But for a player like Marko this cannot be the end.
He’s a big part of West Ham’s team but I think it’s possible to tease out more of him. For that to happen, he has to play for a top team.
Marko is ready for the next step. A player like him should not play against relegation. He should play for the international spots.

Arnautovic played these comments down on West Ham’s official Instagram after commenting on a photo of himself saying:
To all the fans don’t put bad energy into comments. Nothing is true from the newspapers it’s not always good to believe what you read, just to let you know guys ok let’s go.

Despite having a long lasting knee injury this season, the forward has continued to perform for the Hammers and has managed to score five goals in 10 Premier League games this year.
West Ham face Manchester City this weekend at the London Stadium and Arnautovic is set to feature against the Champions.
