West Ham have overseen a mixed start to the Premier League season under Manuel Pellegrini.
After a torrid start to proceedings, the Hammers picked up in form but have still been subjected to criticism following some inconsistent showings in the early periods of the campaign.
West Ham have looked sharp in the final third but have been dealt blows on the injury front. Manuel Lanzini is still nursing a long-term injury and Andriy Yarmolenko will be out for an extended period as he recovers from an Achilles problem.
Marko Arnautovic’s future at West Ham has also come into question recently, prompting concerns among the Hammers’ faithful about how long he will be at the London Stadium for.
Ahead of the January transfer window, West Ham are unlikely to be busy. However, additional attacking reinforcements certainly would not go amiss.
