West Ham could face late competition for the signature of Issa Diop from Sevilla, who are also interested in the French defender.
That is according to L’Equipe, as cited by Calciomercato, who claim that the La Liga outfit are eyeing him as a potential replacement for Clément Lenglet who is wanted by several clubs across Europe.
Sky Sports had reported just days ago that West Ham were close to agreeing a deal with Toulouse for Diop, but now the pressure will be on for the Hammers with other interested parties.
Sevilla are willing to pay around €15million for Diop according to the report, with Florian Lejeune also a target.
The 21-year old France youth international impressed last season for Les Violets, appearing in 33 Ligue 1 games for the club, scoring three goals.
