West Ham are still engaged in talks with Swansea City over duo Alfie Mawson and Lukasz Fabianksi, according to Sky Sports.
The Swans have already rejected bids for both players from the Hammers, but it is believed that an agreement is edging closer to fruition.
According to Sky Sports, the main issue that has caused the deals to slow so far involves the structure of payments between the two parties.
Still, Sky Sports claim that the deal is likely to now progress, which will see West Ham strengthen their defensive line significantly.

Last season, West Ham conceded the joint-most goals in the Premier League, a stat the club won’t be all too proud of. Now under new manager Manuel Pellegrini, the club will be hoping to get in key defensive targets early before other interested parties move in.
Mawson in particular attracted interest all season long last campaign as one of the few Swansea players to have performed admirably throughout.
Fabianksi has also been linked with a number of Premier League sides since Swansea were relegated, with the Poland international rated as a highly capable top flight goalkeeper.
Mawson has two years left on his current deal at the Liberty Stadium, while Fabianski only has one year remaining.
