Manuel Pelligrini has already begun planning his summer transfer business at West Ham as he apparently has his eyes set on West Brom striker Salomon Rondon.
Pellegrini was announced as the club’s manager this morning and according to The Mirror’s John Cross, he is wasting no time.
West Ham have enquired about the striker’s availability and Rondon worked with Pellegrini when they were both at Spanish side, Malaga, so the pair are familiar with each other.
Other teams who are also interested in the Venezuelan are Tottenham, Chelsea and newly promoted Cardiff City.

Rondon had an impressive two years at Malaga and scored 27 goals in 72 games, so will be hoping to find his goal scoring form again if he does pair up with his old boss.
Although West Brom got relegated, he was one of their best performers as he scored seven goals in 36 appearances this year, and he has 24 in 108 appearances in total in the Premier League.
