Joe Allen has hinted that he could stay at relegated Stoke City, despite being linked with a move back to the Premier League with West Ham.
The Mirror report that Allen, who has three years remaining on his deal with the Potters, didn’t rule out remaining at the Bet365 Stadium in the Championship.
The Welshman joined the Potters in 2016 following a successful European Championships for a fee of £13 million.
He made 36 Premier League appearances this campaign as the Potters finished in the bottom three alongside Swansea City and West Bromwich Albion.

The club fear that Allen could be one of a number of key players to leave the club, such as Jack Butland and Xherdan Shaqiri.
However, Allen said in an interview:
Of course I will consider it. If I’m honest, it’s a summer when you don’t know what’s going to happen. But if the club wants me to stay to help it get up, then it’s certainly something I will consider.
West Ham and Stoke are both managerless, with former Hammers boss David Moyes being linked with a move to the Potters.
The Hammers look set to appoint former Man City manager Manuel Pellegrini.
