According to Turkish newspaper, Hurriyet, as translated by Sport Witness, West Ham have made an enquiry to Benfica about possibly buying Anderson Talisca when he returns from his loan spell at Besiktas.
The 24-year-old has made 45 appearances for Besiktas this season and has scored an impressive 19 goals, with four of them coming in the Champions League.
Now that West Ham have secured their place in the Premier League next season, they are looking for players to purchase who can take them to the next level and push them further up the league, thus avoiding another relegation battle.

There have been reports that Wolves are interested in signing the attacker but West Ham have been the most forward with their approach.
Besiktas would be keen to keep the Brazilian on a permanent deal but it looks like the financial muscle of Premier League sides, such as West Ham, could set his price at a level that is too high for the Turkish club to pay.
