West Ham United have had a quiet transfer window and deadline day has been no different. Andre Ayew returning to former club Swansea has been the headline news around the Hammers so far today.
But, David Moyes has made a move for Anderlecht midfielder Leander Dendoncker.
The Belgian side value their man at £20m and have already rejected an offer from West Ham, but in a recent turn of events, the 22-year-old has failed to turn up for a training session today and is reportedly interested in joining the Irons, reports in Belgium.
It remains to be seen whether West Ham will pay the £20m price tag set on Dendoncker but the above reports suggest he’s heading to an “unknown location” after missing the day’s second training session.
Lille defender Ibrahim Amadou is another defensive option for David Moyes as they battle with Crystal Palace for his signature.
It is clear that reinforcements are a priority for West Ham, as they push to finish in the top half of the table.
