Slaven Bilic’s body language after Wilfried Zaha equalised for Crystal Palace last weekend was that of a defeated man who knows he’s living on borrowed time.
Once again, your morning papers would have you believe Bilic is on the brink of the sack but really, the owners don’t have the conviction to do it and providing the club don’t go on a major slide, Bilic will likely be given the rest of the season.
So for now, he remains in a job and West Ham need to get back to winning ways but are presented with the tough challenge of Liverpool at the London Stadium tomorrow evening.
Both sides are struggling with injuries and will be without key men, but the Hammers will be hoping they can channel the spirit of their win against Tottenham at Wembley last week to upset the odds against the Reds.
Here is our predicted XI.
