This week projects to be a pivotal week in West Ham’s 2017/18 season.
The Hammers, languishing just above the relegation zone after a poor start to the Premier League campaign, take on Tottenham tomorrow night in the Carabao Cup before travelling to bottom-placed Crystal Palace on the weekend in two games which could see Slaven Bilic sacked if results don’t go his way.
With priority placed seemingly on the Premier League game at the weekend, West Ham are expected to field a rotated side in midweek but it would do well to surpass the levels of ineptitude shown by those who featured in the 3-0 defeat to Brighton last Friday.
Bilic is still without James Collins who remains the only absentee but he can call upon Andy Carroll after the striker served his one-match suspension after being sent off in the draw at Burnley.
Here is our predicted XI for Tottenham.
