West Ham United captain Mark Noble is reported to have held crisis talks with his team mates at the club’s training ground, following the weekend’s embarrassing 3-0 defeat to newly-promoted Brighton and Hove Albion.
According to Sami Mokbel of the Daily Mail, Noble held a training ground summit with his team mates after tearing into them in the dressing room following Friday night’s defeat.

The Hammers captain is said to have been extremely frustrated by a lack of emotion from his colleagues when the side returned to the dressing room following the 3-0 loss, and tore into them for being so quiet.
Mokbel’s report also states that James Collins addressed the dressing room following the defeat at the London Stadium.
Noble is said to have had an extensive talk with under-pressure manager Slaven Bilic on Monday morning, before leading talks with his team-mates at the training ground, away from the Croatian manager.

The report in the Daily Mail claims that there are members of the West Ham squad who are questioning Bilic’s tactics, and the fact that his contract expires at the end of the season is a threat to his authority, seeing as it looks unlikely that he will last until Christmas, never mind extend his stay at the club beyond the summer.
The Hammers have two key fixtures coming up — a Carabao Cup tie against Tottenham Hotspur on Wednesday night before a potential relegation six-pointer (already) against Crystal Palace at the weekend.
