It’s been a pretty good week for West Ham.
After picking up their first points of the season last week with the home win over Huddersfield and a hard-fought draw away at West Brom, it could’ve been very easy to take their foot off the gas and not take Bolton seriously.
The Championship strugglers came to the London Stadium looking to dig in, soak up the pressure and hopefully hit the Hammers on the break or with a set piece but Slaven Bilic’s heavily rotated side got off to a fast start when Angelo Ogbonna headed home from a Marko Arnautovic free-kick just four minutes into the game.
West Ham were the dominant side for much of the first half and after Ayew and Arnautovic spurned two excellent chances the Hammers grabbed a second when Diafra Sakho turned home a cut back from the Austrian.
The rout was completed when Arthur Masuaku grabbed his first goal for the club with a long-range effort in injury time. Here are our player ratings from the game.
